Originally from the east coast, Michael relocated to the metroplex in the early 1990’s. He began his journey in the beauty industry as a freelance makeup artist but quickly realized hair was his passion. After completing cosmetology school, he apprenticed  under European-trained professionals and now has 20 years experience in the industry. His specialties include blonding services (both traditional and lived-in), gray coverage/blending, color melting and customized curated haircuts. 

 

As a former director of in-salon education, Michael understands the importance of growing his skillset and he continues to do so with continued advanced trainings from the top leaders of the industry. 

 

Fun Fact: When he is not behind the chair, he works as an outpatient counselor (LCDC) and a master’s level social worker (LMSW) serving vulnerable populations in our community.
